This is also utilised in robotics, machine tools, and high-precision assembly tools. THK Rolled Ball Screw is used to make rolled ball screws, not ground ball screws. This is employed because their usage of ball bearings results in decreased friction and allows for tighter tolerances than ordinary forms of screw assemblies.
